Nah nah nah nah, hay hay fever, goodbye. That’s right, if you are like me, you so want this as your April theme song! This better nutrition allergy relief plan will help you get relief from the scratchy throat, stuffed nose, and ouchy sinus pressure that comes to us this time of the year. These can work in place of over the counter medications and can also be a partner to allergy shots or prescribed medications (make sure to loop your practitioner in on what you are taking or doing – they might even enjoy learning about these better nutrition tips and tools too!).
1) Eat more of these basic foods.
Alkaline forming foods activate a form of your best defense against bad bacteria. Lemons, Limes that you add to dressings, teas, and smoothies more often. 2) Get in more good bacteria from foods, first.

3) Get in a better rainbow.

5) Reduce/ remove dairy and limit added sugar.
Especially first thing in the morning or at night before bed. Dairy can be mucous forming and trap in bad bacteria, whereas added sugar works against your alkaline forming efforts (in #1). Need help? 6) Move or have someone do it for you.
A) Turn your world upside down as suitable for your fitness needs. You can lay on the floor with your feet up or practice supported hand/head/ shoulder stands to help keep things clear; B) Twist too.
